Grandparents Whitsell wth Ethel

This photo, circa 1901, shows the newly wed Whitsells with their first daughter, Ethel. They subsequently had six daughters over a twenty-four year period. Ethel, 1901; Blanche, 1903; Mildred,1906; Fleming,1913; Sylvia, 1920 and Doris, 1924. In this photo Grandpa was 20 and Grandma was 18. They met while Grandpa was a boarder in Grandma's home.
