Dede. Aunt Helen, Uncle Bill
This photo is unusual in that Bill Mott, Helen's husband , is in it. I have had no luck in getting photos or information about Bill. He and Helen were high school sweethearts, they married right after high school and Bill was drafted before they could set-up as a family. I believe Bill trained to be a carpenter right out of the service and that was his life's work. Their oldest daughter, Diana, and my brother Dennis grew-up together and are close friends to this day. Bill served in the Pacific during WWII. I recall that he and uncle Ernie met up somewhere in the Pacific. Bill was a very gentle person who could not do enough for others. I don't ever recall of him being angry or opinionated about anything. He got me a job one summer while I attended college. I lived with at Hakanens that summer. I think it was between my junior and senior year.
