Grandma Hakanen's Parents, Johan and Justiina Kivistö.

Johan and Justiina are the parents of Mary(Kivistö)Hakanen. Johan was born 23 Apr 1857 and died 28 Aug 1926. Justiina was born 23 Mar 1853 and passed 18 May 1929. Johan worked on the railroad and purchased farm land over the years. His land holdings, which became quite substantial, were sold to the city of Seinäjoki around 1978. His land is now a large part of a section of that city. There are several pictures showing the town and part of the farm in this album.
