Circa 1942 Nanty-Glo Journal Paperboy

This picture was taken when I first got my route as a Nanty-Glo Journal paperboy. They gave you this sack once you got a route. The Journal was (and still is, I think) a once a week paper delivered on Wednesdays. When we moved to Turtle Creek I had the Journal mailed to me. At one of our high school reunions one of the fellows there said, " I remember you as one of the only persons I knew who got a newspaper sent to him". I don't remember which streets my route covered.
