Grandma and Grandpa Hakanen with Waco, Edith and Sulo

This photo shows Mary and John Hakanen with their children(left to right)Waco, Edith and Sulo. Edith, their first of two daughters, was born April 10, 1915. This picture must have been taken shortly after her birth (circa 1916). She passed away in Roaring Spring PA. May 7, 2006. She was 91. I have started loading more current pictures to this Album and have her in some of them. The annual Hakanen reunion "connects" cousins and aunts and uncles each year. It is a great day for all of us. But I have problems putting the younger generation together in my head. It his hard to believe the little kids you remember are now parents and grandparents.
