Uncle Bill Salem in Uniform

Uncle Bill was in Europe during WWII. He was wounded while there. I remember his Purple Heart. I don't remember knowing much about his, Ernie's or Uncle Bill Mott's service experiences. At Ernie's funeral, in 2011, I found out Uncle Bill was wounded in the head. It must have been much more serious than any of us knew. I intend to seek more info on the three Uncles WWII experiences. Aunt Edith returned a drawing I did of Uncle Bill when I was 8 or 9 where I refer to him as "handsome Bill Salem". I'll try to share this on my "reflections" page.
